Every individual (especially children) must have tonsils. It is an important protective mechanism in the throat. Only when the tonsils become frequently inflamed / infected or when they become enlarged to such an extent so as to cause obstructive symptoms that one has to worry about it. Tonsils will usually start to regress in size by late childhood (8-10 years). Your doctor is the best judge to advise regarding tonsil removal (if needed).

My son is going to be 3 years in the coming Dec. Still he is not able to talk clearly. My daughter started talking very early. Please advice. I have a doubt that he has tied tongue. One doctor was of the same opinion but another doctor took it lightly. Will he talk properly?

Answer:
Even under normal circumstances development of speech varies from child to child (even between siblings). Tongue-tie may occur in different degrees in a few children. Mild tongue-tie usually does not interfere with speech. But when severe may it may cause pronunciation difficulties and may need to be released. However it needs to be assessed by a Pediatrician who may ask for a Pediatric Surgeon’s opinion.
